  2. Kazraktilar says:
Throughout the course of church history, many people have taught that Jesus’ spirit descended into hell after His death on the cross. Basing this idea on Ephesians –10 and 1 Peter –20, most of those who have taught that Jesus’ spirit went to hell after His death have said that He went there to proclaim judgment to sinners and/or rescue the saints of the Old Testament.
  3. Melar says:
May 27,  · Jesus also compared hell to a prison and to outer darkness. It was he who likened hell to “a fire” at least twenty different times. Lazarus and the Rich Fool. A premier text about hell from the mouth of Jesus is Luke – The wider context of its teaching is the abuse of wealth.

Nov 24,  · When you die, you go to a sort of spiritual waiting room. Everyone who has died already, or who dies before Jesus' Second Coming to the earth, will be waiting there. It is divided up into two places called Spirit Paradise, and Spirit Prison. Spirit Paradise is for those who have accepted the true gospel and are believers.

  6. Zugami says:
The devil would never have you constantly doubt your salvation. God has stirred a firestorm up in your mind to let you know that you are still on your way to hell. Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ AND more importantly does he know you.
  7. Daijar says:
Today, my friends, many people who love Jesus Christ are sadly following traditional Christian dogma which does not have a firm foundation in the Bible. Have you ever wondered how a God who is Love would send people to hell to burn forever and ever? Even after 1 billion years of torment in hell, even Hitler would have his due.
  8. Malajin says:
by Matt Slick 4/4/ No, a saved person can never go to hell. The reason is that a person who is truly saved cannot lose his salvation.. Now, I know that a lot of people will disagree with the opening statement because many Christians believe that it is possible to lose one's salvation and therefore end up going to hell.
  9. Mazushakar says:
Apr 08,  · Psalm “Lift up your gates, O ye princes,” which the medieval Gloss interprets: “that is–Ye princes of hell, take away your power, whereby hitherto you held men fast in hell”. In Ecclesiasticus , Siracides (author of Sirach) prophecies: “I will penetrate to all the lower parts of the earth.” I hope you find these helpful.
